[Wpfw-lsb] Meeting Calendars

We received an EM from the Board Secretary, Sarah
telling us that Tracy, the vice-chair has accepted to
post the calendar of our meetings. I have not yet seen
anything.

This is NOT a criticism of any individual board
member, but of the Whole Board, even though the
officers have a greater responsibility in this area.

It is six months that we have been meeting as a board
and our committees have been meeting for two months 

So far as far as I am aware there is no website for
the LSB, no complete calendar of the meetings of the
LSB and its committeess posted anywhere, and there is
no direct link from the WPFW to any of the listserves
such as the wpfw-lsb or the ourwprw, etc....

This means that at best, the only people who can find
out anything are individuals who are the in-crowed and
have bookmarked the addresses for their use.

Any new listener, going to the WPFW website finda no
link to anything that the LSB is doing.

You have to have an exact URL to find out anything,
and that is if you have the time to search all the
messages posted and such. 

There has been a lot of talk about communications and
the any action was postponed till the Tech committee
meets and that committee had only met once at our last
LSB meeting.

To post a calendar is not that complicated. 
In fact Rupert said he was going to do it and I sent
him the scehduel of our programming committee. 
If he has done it all you need to do is to link to it
from WPFw.

If we have to vote n this then let's dio it. 
In fact we are not doing what we arebound to do, that
is to annouce, clearly to the listeners our meetings.
