Mark, Thomas, thanks for the Living Newspaper, and the 'extensive  comments', 
proposals.
They are, in my estimation, two documents that will contribute to shape our  
thinking regarding the voice of WPFW. I support the formatting you have  
proposed. Let me add some of my thinking to those that I'm sure will  be voicing 
their opinions. 
First let me applaud you for what you have proposed and commented on.  I 
think it is powerful and thoughtful.
It seems to me that we have two choices; One, is to look at how to make our  
programming more effective, or; Two, leave it alone.  
For those who accept One, we have a proposal and comments to comment on, or  
suggest different proposals.
For those who accept Two, they have to comment on this proposal and  
comments, and any future proposals and comments, as to why they are not  needed.
I'm with One.
Is it possible to have Dr. Brewer's, Mynd Talk retain a one hour twice  
weekly time allocation. I feel that her program is unique because the focus on  
mental health and relationship issues/promblems; address a broad cross  section 
of our communities concerns; it is meticulously researched; is directed  by 
professional ethics.
I would suggest using Dr. Brewers skills, if she were willing, as a  resource 
to other programmers (news, public affairs, music, etc.), to gain  mental 
health and relationship insight into their programming if needed. I feel  that in 
addition to being programmers, many need to be recognized for the  resource 
they are or can be to WPFW, if given that recognition and opportunity.  So let 
the dialogue begin. Thanks again Mark, Thomas.
