Good Morning All -
As Chair of the Programming Committee, I agree w/ Ron that our committee should make a
recommendation on the special program. Having said that, I don't see any problem with
this special program going forward, given that Ray has stated he is not running for
re-election and that this issue is a burning one. Further, Ray is extremely qualified
to produce this program given his contacts in and experience with the criminal justice
community/system.
I will put this issue on the agenda for September 23. I hope it can be resolved by the
committee and the LSB in time for the program to be aired before the elections.
