In early September, if you like me felt a little relieved that the political conventions were over, how did you unwind?   I thank the Creator daily, that I have been given a simple and effective, stress management tool like "deep breathing"  that helped me cope.  Watching the Republican Convention made me so upset at times, that I was fusing to the t.v.   I then found myself connecting with my breathing to just slow my mind down and un-tense my body.    I also gained a greater respect for the concept of "good stress" too.   As I watched with great pride, Senator Obama's nomination acceptance speech, even such excitement left me feeling little overwhelmed after it was all over.  Again, relaxing and de-stressing with my breathing, did the trick.  

Having used my "deep breathing" to survive  both weeks,  I was inspired to think up a ways to energize us all for the intense, election race ahead through November.  So, I came up a  "Busting Loose for Obama" Rally in October.   In the meantime, come relax with me at several distress workshops and the many festivals, celebrations, and gatherings traditionally held in September.
